Wiping the Slate Clean and Organized

It’s been a long time, friends. Have you missed me?

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions. My family and I experienced a huge loss with the passing our of beloved grandfather, “Papi,” our family patriarch. He was a truly incredible person to so many. I’m blessed to have had him here for so many years and milestones in my life. Truthfully, it is never enough. My grandfather passed on so many “pearls” of wisdom I plan to share with you over the coming months. I can only hope to be a fraction of the person that he was. I take comfort in knowing that the world is a much better place because he lived in it.

Just a few days ago, we were graced with celebratory news. Our brother, Oren proposed to his girlfriend, Megan. Entering a family of three sisters is never easy, but we couldn’t be more ecstatic about having Megan join our clan. She’s kind, smart, beautiful and somehow in love with our brother. Some things are just mysterious….

With everything going on, it was difficult to find a moment to blog, but I’ve missed you and our daily inspirations.

It’s 2013 now. That means a new year. A fresh start. A great way to wipe the slate clean, and better ourselves for the next twelve months.

I was so smitten when I spotted Darcy Miller’s craft room in Martha Stewart Living this month. It’s the epitome of one of my resolutions: brilliant organization!

I hope the new year brings you peace, health, happiness and a clean and organized slate.

xoxo,

Niki
