Cakery Friday: Oreo Cheesecake Cookies

Oreo Cheesecake is my weakness. So being able to make this decadent dessert into a cookie seemed like a dream come true. {And maybe slightly healthier…. maybe?}. These are a sinch to put together and the results are AH-mazing. Repeat. Ahhh. Mazing.







Gather all of the ingredients.







In a mixing bowl fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together 1/2 cup unsalted, room temperature butter and 3 ounces cream cheese on medium speed until smooth and well-combined. Add 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix until the ingredients are well-combined. Add 1 cup of all purpose flour and mix on low until the flour is incorporated. Stir in 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.







Place 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs in a small bowl. Scoop the cookies into small balls {about 1/2″} and then roll in the cookie crumbs. Place the cookie balls on the baking sheet. Resist the urge to eat the whole thing raw. Trust me. It’s worth the wait.







Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees, or until the edges are golden and the tops are slightly puffed. Allow to cool and enjoy! {To jazz them up, drizzle with a little white chocolate}
