Sisterly Six

Ok that was misleading. It’s more than six today. But, hey. We are so happy about our NBA Championship we can’t bother to count.

You see, while we may have been “here” the last two months, we haven’t really been present. We have been distracted. And entertained. And stressed. And exhausted. All by basketball. Specifically, Miami Heat basketball.

Here’s a little preview of the last two months of our lives. Fo real.

Group shot. Pure joy. Yup.

The coolest championship purchase thus far.

DK celebrates the game 7 win for the Eastern Conference Finals.

R + M take part in the festivities. And pull off geek chic in the cutest way.

Our friend Ryan tests the bounds of arena security… and gains entrance into the press room.

American Airlines Arena last Thursday before Game 5.

During Game 5.

Nothing better than confetti and winning.

Especially for this guy. Our hero.

A taste of champagne in our lucky Miami Heat watches on the drive home.

We are the champions {my friend}.

xoxo,

Niki, Ali + Gavi

    Hi Brandi,
I follow a few blogs like Devil and Egg, P&C, and yours. It was so great. Could I still follow it or did you stop writing?
    Thanks,
    Rose

Go Heat! The press room at the American Airlines Arena is named after my brother (Robes Patton) who covered the Miami Heat for the Sun-Sentinel. He died of a brain tumor in 1998 so I don’t have the inside scoop on the team anymore but I always cheer for them (even though I live in Boston and grew up in LA).
