Cakery Friday: S’more Cups

I am a sucker for s’mores, there is something about that graham cracker, marshmallow and chocolate combination that just seems to get me every time! I think the real reason is the nostalgia. Eating a s’more reminds me of cabin nights at camp and also of sitting around the fire place in our family cabin in Arkansas {that’s a whole other story}. This take on the classic s’more can be made anywhere, anytime and in just a few simple steps! A big thank you to Laura for sharing 🙂





Gather all of the ingredients {disclaimer: my marshmallows were purchased at Whole Foods – I think I would stick with the Kraft variety next time}.





Place 7 graham crackers into a large, re-sealable plastic bag. Finely crush into crumbs.









Combine graham crackers crumbs, 1/4 cup of confectioners’ sugar and 6 tablespoons of melted butter in a small bowl.





Place 1 tablespoon of crumb mixture in each cup of a {very well greased} mini muffin tin.





Press crumbs to form shallow cups.





Bake 4-5 minutes at 350 degrees F or until the edges begin to bubble.

Meanwhile, break a large chocolate candy bar into rectangles. Remove pan from oven; place one rectangle into each cup.





Cut marshmallows in half crosswise using scissors. Place one marshmallow half, cut-side down, into each cup.





Return to the oven for 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows are soft.

Carefully remove the cups from the pan and allow to cool completely. Drizzle with melted chocolate on top!
