Cool Stuff for Mini Peeps

I thought I would give you a few more insights into R + M, since their nursery was such a big hit yesterday!

This is what their closet looks like:

Bet you can’t tell whose side is whose?!

In the center we stock up in case of armageddon. At least that is how I like to think about it. The thought of running out of a particular baby product is terrifying.

I especially love baby shoes. Mason’s look like this:

While Raya’s barely fit on the shelf {such a girl thing right, too many shoes not enough space in the closet!}

Sunglasses are a must. They each have three pairs {from Target}. And yes, they both have baby converse {esque soft shoes from Old Navy} and Baby Uggs.

Raya also seriously digs hair bows {Considering she wasn’t blessed with flowing locks at birth, it was a great way to delineate to strangers that she was a girl}. She loves them so much that they were overflowing into other parts of the closet {and in turn giving me anxiety}.

So I decided to make a “bow holder” from Michaels to hang all of the clips and flowers, while the bands could sit with her shoes.

I’m not particularly proud of the execution of the project, but in theory it was brilliant. One day soon I will come back to it again {or find something awesome-er on etsy. anyone? anyone?}.

We have a loft right outside their room that I’m working on turning into a playroom. While I’m going to wait to give you the full preview, I wanted to show you the current art on the wall.

You probably remember this crayon undertaking, as well as my mini glitter projects.The graphic piece on the left was designed and made by moi and highlights “a day in the life of r+m”, AKA their schedule, in case Cole needs a reminder}. On the right are fingerprints that they made in their first mommy and me class. I’m planning to expand the collection with lots of future kid art.

p.s. If you can’t quite get through R + M’s daily schedule without feeling complete and utter exhaustion and a deep desire for caffeine, well then, be a dear and pick me up an iced coffee at Starbucks while you’re there. I like soy milk and one pump of hazelnut. Thanks.

    Thanks Brianna! Actually made and printed it just like the bathroom ones and the ones above the changing table. Framed from Michaels.
