Rainbow Bright

Rainbows are really and truly incredible things. I’ve always had a fascination with them. As a baby, my nursery and bedding was covered in rainbows. As a child, I was intrigued and convinced that the pot of gold theory was real. Today, I’m inspired by the use of rainbows in design, photography and of course parties and entertaining.

I love this!!! YEARS ago, I was a camp counselor and we had a rainbow day. For the snack, we had prepared a jello mold in a bowl. We did layers in every color of the rainbow, letting each layer set before adding the next one. When inverted and then sliced like a cake and placed on a white plate, you could see each color. The kids loved it! While that kind of grosses me out now that I am an adult, the looks on their faces were priceless. :)
