Rainbows are really and truly incredible things. I’ve always had a fascination with them. As a baby, my nursery and bedding was covered in rainbows. As a child, I was intrigued and convinced that the pot of gold theory was real. Today, I’m inspired by the use of rainbows in design, photography and of course parties and entertaining.

August 8, 2010 at 11:41 pm (8 years ago)I love this!!! YEARS ago, I was a camp counselor and we had a rainbow day. For the snack, we had prepared a jello mold in a bowl. We did layers in every color of the rainbow, letting each layer set before adding the next one. When inverted and then sliced like a cake and placed on a white plate, you could see each color. The kids loved it! While that kind of grosses me out now that I am an adult, the looks on their faces were priceless. 🙂
