I was lucky enough this past weekend to escape the cold of New York City and venture down to (almost always) sunny Puerto Rico. I had a fantastic time, sat in the sun, walked on the beach and ate fabulous Puerto Rican food (I’m trying to make you a little jealous, did it work?) Because it was MLK weekend, there seemed to be an overwhelming number of groups celebrating bachelorette parties. It got me thinking of the best locations for destinations for a bachelorette party.
Puerto Rico is a perfect spot because you get both the relaxing beach vacation coupled with great restaurants and a crazy nightlife.
The Ritz Carlton and
The Conrad Hotel are both great options of places to stay. The Ritz Carlton has both an
Il Mulino and
BLT Steak inside and the Conrad features
Picayo (with famed chef Wilo Benet, a personal fav) and
Varitas.
Las Vegas is considered the ultimate bachelor and bachelorette destination. There are always great flight and hotel deals to be found. The options are endless when it comes to where to stay, eat and party. You can make friends with all of the other bachelorettes at
Chippendales or take a group pole-dance lesson at
StudiOhm. Party at
Pure,
LAX,
Tao or
Tryst. And eat to your hearts content at one of the many celebrity chef restaurants including
Joel Robuchon,
Alain Ducasse,
Daniel Boulud,
Bobby Flay and
Tom Collichio. And make sure to book a massage at the
Spa Mandalay at Mandalay Bay.

South Beach, Miami, Florida is a popular location for bachelorette parties (and my favorite obviously, as Niki’s party was there). The brand new
Gansevoort South Beach is great for those seeking a trendy weekend and features an
STK and
Philippe inside the hotel.
Joe’s Stone Crabs is not to be missed either–a total Miami classic! Spend the days tanning on the beach or shopping on Lincoln Road; and your evenings partying at
The Florida Room in the Delano,
Liv at the Fountaineblue or
Nikki Beach nightclub.
This is just the beginning, I’ll periodically update this list with bachelorette ideas, but we’d love to know yours.
Happy planning!
xoxo,
Ali
San Diego! The weather is usually (not right now) great and there is so much to do there! Whether you want the downtown lifestyle or the casual beach afternoon, SD has it…
the best bachelorette party for me was in nevada… my friend invite us to haway after las vegas!
