It’s official, in a year (or maybe a little less) Papery & Cakery is moving! Don’t stress, we’re just moving down the road in Boca Raton, but I am so thrilled to be decorating a new showroom for my customers.
Just like when Cole and I planned our wedding, I’ve been furiously bookmarking design magazines and websites for inspiration and ideas for the new space. Last week, my incredibly design-savvy mother showed me a photo of the most stunning chandelier I’ve ever seen. It’s currently residing just up the road at the Eau Spa in the Ritz in Manalapan.

The chandelier is made entirely of crystal stemware. It’s so celebratory chic! I’m relatively confident it was made by renown lighting designer John Harrington.
I’m a total chandelier lover and of course have been google-ing away to find the ultimate light fixture.

I’m fascinated by this piece from Pottery Barn which would allow me to feature some of my favorite invitations, announcements and stationery.

I’ve always been a fan of this papercut shade by Tord Boontje. It’s featured in the MOMA store and is so ethereal and romantic looking.

Tableware in a chandelier is par for the course with this fork and spoon chandelier at Anthropologie.
There are about a million ways to incorporate chandeliers into your next event. I’m particularly found of putting chandeliers in a non-traditional and unexpected setting. These chandeliers {via Style Me Pretty} float effortlessly in the trees above the tables.
Of course, I also adore integrating chandeliers into your stationery! {via Mr. Boddington’s Studio, available @ Papery & Cakery!}.
xoxo,
Niki

that stemware one is amazing!
I actually saw a pretty cute chandelier w/ little "crystal" beads at ikea this weekend (ha! its ikea, they are plastic for sure). But at ikea prices you could def afford to place several above a table like the ones here.
