One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving is setting the table. I love all of the beautiful colors of fall, but mostly I love to be crafty and create an inviting space at which to share a delicious meal.
Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving decor ideas.

I purchased this kit for Turkey Place Cards from paper-source last Thanksgiving and they were a HUGE hit! Paper Source also has other great place card kits like gourds and acorns!

Pottery Barn is brilliant! Browsing through their site the other day I found these “caterer’s kits” for dishes, flatwork, and glass wear. What is a caterer’s kit, you ask? If you entertain often, this is a perfect way to guarantee you’re table will always look fabulous! Each kit comes with a durable box filled wtih twelve place settings of materials. That means 12 dinner & salad plates, 12 pieces of stem ware and 12 sets of flatware. Since the design is so simple, you can dress up your table in a million different ways. Brilliant!
Also brilliant: these cinnamon stick napkin rings. I bet they smell delicious too.
I love using dish towels as napkins. It’s tres chic! I wish I could take credit for the idea, but I saw it on Barefoot Contessa a few months ago. How much fun would it be to use these dishtowels from Crate and Barrel as napkins on Turkey Day?

I adore this Thanksgiving table (made for under $50–mostly of twigs!!!) that I found on Real Simple.
Um, yea, so maybe the pilgrims didn’t wear stilettos to the first Thanksgiving, but that doesn’t mean you can’t don these fabulous Louboutins. I think that pumpkin pie just might taste better in a pair of these!
xoxo,
Niki
