I’ve spent insane amounts of time trying to figure out what to dress up as for Halloween this year. Honestly, after multiple hours on the internet, I’ve come to realize that the best costumes are really for dogs. I think from here on out I’m going to concentrate on Ray.
Here are a few of my favorite ideas for Howl-O-Ween 2009….
I’m head over heels for this school girl pet costume. According to Spirit, it can turn any little pooch into homecoming queen.
Sometimes I swear Ray thinks we are keeping him in captivity. He can really play the role with this prison dog outfit.
I truly believe the king himself would be proud that his signature bellbottoms and cape come in dog sizes too. Ain’t nothing but a hound dog in this get-up.
Fido can follow the yellow brick road in this Dorothy frock. All that’s missing is a matching Toto doll!
Get into the holiday spirit with these Santa Dog & Pup Shalom costumes. I’m kvelling!
This Indiana Jones costume includes its own fedora. Enough said.
And speaking of superheroes… Cole and I were actually in New Orleans during Mardi Gras last February for the infamous “Barkus” dog parade. Last year’s theme was “Batmutt” and here are a few of my favorite photos that I snapped that day.
Well, let’s be honest. We already know what Ray is going to be this year….
