Giant letters are so cool. Honestly, who doesn’t want to see their name blown up (in letters or lights)?

I think my favorite might be these zinc letters from Anthropologie, which now even come oversized, 25 inches high!
Pica Press put these letters to good use. They really pop against the cherry red wall.
Good ole’ Anthropologie also makes these colorful upholstered letters and metal letter stand bookends, which would be really cool to use in place of table numbers.

I also adore these choices for wall monograms from Pottery Barn Kids. They may be shown in a nursery, but they don’t have to be just limited to that. Use them at birthday parties, showers and even dinner parties. You could even give each guest their initial and use them as a totally unique favor.
Purchase one (or lots) of these craft letters from Paper Source and decoupage it with a great printed paper. Better yet, cover it with an adhesive and cover it in a bright colored glitter for a sparkly statement.
The alphabet isn’t just for the walls of your home.
Instead of the guest(s) of honors names and initials, use wall letters to spell out a word to set the tone, like this festive “celebrate” from once wed.

This moss covered monogram from Style Me Pretty would be gorgeous at a rustic soiree {like the one shown here from once wed}.

This couple found gigantic letters from an old Blockbuster Video sign. The letters became the signature piece of wedding, and flanked the entry to the reception area. Fantastic photos by Erin hearts court.

Niki

You're right, giant letters ARE cool! I'm loving those moss covered monograms, and the blockbuster letters are brilliant!

  2. What a great collection of "letters" you've compiled! I had the PBK lower case ones in my son's nursery. Now he has a huge rustic red metal "T" in his vintage car "big boy" room! :)
