My friend, shoe-maven, and now soon-to-be-bride Susie, inspired to post about colorful wedding shoes. I saw a photo of her, donned in a fabulous pastel dress, accessorized with an pair of bright yellow Louboutin peep-toe pumps.
White satin shoes are classic and beautiful, but the likelihood that you’ll wear them again after your wedding is slim to none. Investing in a pair of bright and bold shoes for the big day is a purchase that you won’t have to convince yourself that you’ll wear again! Plus you’ll make an incredibly memorable statement.
Here are a few brides who put their vibrant shoes into action!
For a bit of a sunshine, check out these yellow pumps featured in a wedding from The Bride’s Cafe.

It was bright red for the whole bridal party in this fete from The Southern Weddings.

The perfect green wedding? Jen from green wedding shoes wore these ankle strapping stilettos down the aisle in style.

This bride at primadonna bride put her “something blue” right on her feet.

Hope you didn’t forget about these fabulous red rosette shoes from Cheree Berry’s wedding, courtesy of Martha Stewart.

A few real life suggestions to spruce up your tootsies…

Sparkly fuschia stilettos from Christain Louboutin. Golden satin Guiseppe Zanotti pumps from Bluefly. Satin and crystal Rene Caovilla peep-toe slingbacks. Valentino patent flat-bow pumps. Niki

I love your blog Niki! I wish I had used yellow shoes!

  4. I think I am probably too traditional to actually go with the colored shoes… but I just adore the aqua ones!
