New Orleans Inspiration

A few weeks ago, Cole & I traveled to New Orleans for my birthday and our anniversary. It was such an amazing weekend filled with lots of food, Mardi Gras parades & sightseeing.

I was struck by the beautiful wrought iron balconies that are so prevalent in the French Quarter. After the oysters, crawfish & beignets, the architecture of New Orleans was definitely my favorite part.
The wrought iron reminded me of many of the scrolling designs found on some gorgeous invitations. Here are a few faves from Wiley Valentine, Elum, Studio Olivine, Cat Seto, Delphine, Egg Press, Louella, Arabella, Smock & Pica Press. These invites range from weddings to showers to Bat Mitzvahs…
Happy scrolling!
xoxo,
Niki

  1. I visited New Orleans briefly for the first time in 2008, and really loved it. It really is an inspiring place.
